Trinidad Moruga Scorpion

Trinidad Moruga Scorpion is native to the district of Moruga in Trinidad and Tobago. The Chile Pepper Institute at New Mexico State University tested the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion to more than 1.2 million Scoville heat units (SHU) and individual plants with a heat of more than 2 million SHU. The current record holder is the Carolina Reaper.
The plant grows to over a metre tall in a pot and would grow bigger if you plant it in the ground. A nice solid plant and an awesome producer. The pods ripen from green to red.
