Tobago Seasoning Chilli
“The original chilli seeds were collected at a market in Scarboro, Tobago in March 1999 by Dr Jeff Nekol.”
Tobago Seasoning Chilli is a non hot Chinense variety. it is a beautiful little plant, that looks like an umbrella filled with chilli fruit. This is a great chilli for those, that aren’t into super hot chillies.
This pepper has a nice flavour and a minimal heat. It’s used extensively in the local cuisine as a seasoning pepper. The pod shape can vary and turns from light green to orange and then red when reach full maturity.
Flavour wise: Sweet habanero flavour.
Heat wise: Mild
