I grew these last year. Beautiful plants, that can grow quite tall. They produce quite a lot of funny shaped pods, but they take forever to ripen. If you have a short growing season you should account for that. They taste really nice. A very sweet salad like flavor. The heat is concentrated in the placenta tissue, so when you remove it, you actually get a pretty mild pepper. But the if you eat them whole, they can take quite a punch for a c.baccatum pepper.
I recommend to use them fresh. Cut them up and sprinkle them over your salad.
