The Brazilian Starfish Chilli is a stunning Baccatum variety from Brazil. If you like the different looking chilli varieties the Starfish is one to get.
It really loves growing in the ground with 50/50 sun and shade. Our Starfish is planted in the ground and is nearly 2 metre tall. In a pot the plant grows to about 1 metre and an added bonus is, it has a very long season.
It is an amazing producer of uniquely shaped pods resembling a Starfish. First the pods are green and then change to a bright red when they are fully mature. This chilli is so different from other chilli varieties and definitely one to have in your chilli collection.
The Brazilian Starfish Chilli would be perfect for salads, on cheese or pickled . One of the best tasting chillies we ever have tried.
Pod size: 4-5 cm long and wide, and 1.5 cm high.
Flavour wise: Sweet and fruity. Strawberry and apple flavour. Really delicious.
Heat Level: Medium heat
