Bangalore Torpedo Chilli
The Bangalore Torpedo an amazing looking chilli from India and a ripper of a producer.
The plant grows well in a pot to about a metre high and would grow bigger in the ground. It’s a wide and bushy variety with large amounts of 10 – 12 cm long pods. The pods starts off a light green and end up a bright red, when they are fully mature. Some get a few that twist like pig’s tails, but most are just bent.
It has medium heat, therefore a level that most people can handle and would be great for salads or just tossed whole into stir-fry.
Over all the Bangalore Torpedo Chilli is a great plant to have in your chilli collection.
