Description
Santa Fe Grande Pepper
“A Mild Mexican Chilli”
Capsicum Annuum
Santa Fe Grande Pepper originates from Mexico and is a great little plant. It’s also known as “Güero Chilli Pepper”. Güero means blond in Spanish and probably refers to their pale yellow colour.
This variety is a small chilli plant, that grows to about 50-60 cm high in a pot. It is therefore an excellent chilli plant for a terrace or a balcony. At the same time it has a long season, so a great little plant.
The conical blunt chilli peppers are 6 cm long and 2.5-3 cm wide. They ripen from a pale yellow to orange and end up a bright red colour, when they are fully mature.
Chop them in little slices and they will be great fresh in a salad, or pickled even better.
We recommend you try our variety seed packs for a GREAT discount.
