Orange Fish Pepper

The Fish Pepper originates from the Caribbean and was brought to the United States. It got its name from its use to season local fish and shellfish. Luckily the knowledge about the Fish Pepper was passed down in stories, along with the seeds, so we all can enjoy this marvelous little plant.
The original colour change goes from creamy white with green stripes to orange with red stripes, some all red. However, we can now introduce the Orange Fish Pepper with a different taste, than the original Red Fish Pepper.
The plant grows well in a pot to around 50-60 cm in height, and if you are space challenged, it would be a great choice. The Orange Fish has beautiful green and white variegated leaves. The colour change in the pods are spectacular – goes from creamy white with green stripes to orange with stripes, before it finally ripens to orange.
A beautiful and rare looking chilli plant, that will look stunning in every garden. One of our favourite looking chilli plants. With their variegated leaves and multi-colored chillies, these are a wonderful addition to your garden.
Pods size: 4-5 cm long. Thin walled and crunchy.
Flavour wise: Tangy with a slight sweetness as well.
Heat wise: Gives an immediately heat, upper mid heat
