Guyana Chilli
‘A rare chilli from Guyana – known as the Wiri Wiri’
From South America in the Caribbean region you will find Guyana where this unique chilli originates from. We got the seeds from a good friend Sarah who lives in Trinidad.
The Guyana Chilli plant is compact and grows fantastic in a pot to about 60 cm in height. It looks absolutely sensational when it fills with pods that looks like tiny cherries. The cherry-like appearance has given this chilli nicknames like Hot Cherry or Bird Cherry Chilli.
The colour change in the pods go from a light green to orange, to a vibrant red. You will have all the colours during the season as this variety constantly produces fruit.
It has a great taste and despite the size of the pods, it is really hot. In our experience this chilli is fantastic for a cooler climate.
All in all an amazing rare chilli variety, easy to grow and furthermore a fantastic producer.
We recommend you try our variety seed packs for a GREAT discount
