White Chupetinho Chilli

‘Astonishing White Brazilian Chilli’

C. Chinense

The White Chupetinho Chilli is a beautiful and rare chilli pepper from Brazil. Also known as Pimenta de Bico or Chupetinha, that translated means “little Rubber Nipple” and you can see why.

The plant grows well in a pot to about 50-60 cm in height and the branch’s cascade down and fill up with these unique looking chilli pods. If you are space challenged, this chilli would be a great choice.

A beautiful looking chilli variety with heaps of drop shaped pods. The pods start off a light lime green, then change to a creamy white.

You get an instant burst of flavour; both sweet and fruity, plus a light chinense flavour. The most common way to eat this chilli pepper in Brazil is pickled in vinegar and served as a garnish or as an appetizer with drinks.

All in all this chilli variety is excellent looking, easy to grow and an awesome producer.  With a mild heat anyone can have a go.

Pods size: 3 cm long and 1.5 cm wide

Flavour: Light sweetness and fruityness. You will get a light chinense flavour as well.

Heat: They have a nice mild but deep burn.

10-12 chilli seeds per pack.

Good growers in Melbourne. We pickled almost all our harvest and they always went down well with any meal.
