Description
Trinidad Perfume Pepper
Capsicum Chinense
The Trinidad Perfume Pepper is originally from the Caribbean. It’s named the Trinidad Perfume, because it is said it gives off a delicious scent, when it’s used in cooking.
The plant grows to about 70 cm in a pot and would grow bigger, if you plant it in the ground.
It has beautiful little lantern shaped yellow pods about 3-4 cm long and 3 cm wide. They start off a light green and end up a warm yellow, when they are fully mature.
They would be excellent fresh in a salad, in a mild salsa or dry them and make a mild chilli powder.
All in all the Trinidad Perfume is a beautiful looking chilli plant full of yellow pods, sweet like an apple and very mild.
Flavour wise: Sweet with apple flavour
Heat level: Mild, 1/15

These grow and produce like crazy. Had so many I didn’t know what to do with them all. The flavor is accurate to the name, perfumey. Sweet with floral qualities.
