Tepin Chilli

Capsicum Annuum

“Mother of all peppers”

Tepin Chilli is wild chili from Central America, Mexico and the southwestern United State. Also known as Bird Peppers or Chiltepins.

The plant grows to about 1,5 meter in a pot and is an awesome producer. The pods are shaped more like a berry,  This chili has a long history and is called  the “Mother of all peppers”, because it’s the oldest of the Capsicum Annuum species and possible the oldest strain known.

Don’t let their small size deceive you, this little pepper is very spicy with a searing hot burn. If you love hot chilli, salsa, and stews, this is the chilli for you.
