Peach Scorpion

“Delightful flavour and mild heat level”

C. Chinense

Peach Scorpion is a new type of the famous scorpion peppers. The plant grows well in a pot to about 50 cm tall and is a great producer of beautiful shaped pods.

The pods have thin walls, are 3-4 cm long and 2.5-3 cm wide and start off green and end up a beautiful peach colour, when they are fully mature.

They are very crunchy, juicy and furthermore have a unique flavour. These chilli peppers would be great in a sweet relish, pickled, in a stir-fry or fresh in a salad.

All in all a surprising Trinidad Scorpion variety with great looking pods and especially relevant is their delightful flavour and mild heat level.

Flavour wise: They have a light rock melon flavour and you can sense the chinense flavour. It is not overpowering – really a unique and delicious flavour.

Heat level: Mild – you only get a light burn.

10-12 chilli seeds per pack

This is a truly outstanding mild chinense. The plants are both compact and productive. The pods are thick-walled and crunchy, and most of them have short, Scorpion-type tails. They are very aromatic when cut open, and they have a musky, melon-like taste combined with very clean chinense undertones. There are no floral or other “off” flavors. The burn is surprisingly mild for a chinense and is not aggressive or painful at all. The mild burn and the very pleasant and unique flavor of this Scorpion make it really well-suited to use fresh off the plant. I will continue to grow this variety every year, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is searching for a mild but very flavorful chinense.
