Description
Komodo Dragon Chilli
‘A chilli pepper with a fiery heat’
C. Chinense
The Komodo Dragon Chilli was introduced back in 2015 by Salvatore Genovese in the United Kingdom.
This little fiery chilli is a cross between a Bhut Jolokia and a Trinidad Scorpion, therefore it is doomed to be hot. This demonic chilli pepper will hit you hard with its insane heat level, so one for the courageous chilli lover.
A very bushy plant that grows well in a pot to about 70 cm in height. As most chillies this variety does not like full sun, so find a spot in your garden with some shade.
The Komodo Dragon chilli would be a great choice for an insanely hot sauce, or dry the pods and make your own fiery chilli powder.
Flavour: Initial naga flavour with a bit of bitterness.
Heat level: Extreme heat
