Description
Chupetinho Chilli
C. Chinense
Chupetinho Chilli is a beautiful chilli pepper from Brazil. It’s also called Pimenta de Bico or Chupetinha, that translated means “little Rubber Nipple” and you can see why.
A beautiful looking chilli plant with heaps of drop shaped pods. The plant grows to about 50-60 cm tall in a pot and the branch’s sort of cascade down and filled with chilli pods. You will get an instant burst of flavour; both sweet and fruity, plus a light Habanero flavour. The most common way to eat this chilli pepper in Brazil is pickled in vinegar and served as a garnish or as an appetizer with drinks.
All in all this chilli variety is excellent looking, easy to grow and an awesome producer. A mid heat – so anyone can try.
