Chocolate Scorpion Chilli Puree
‘Insanely hot chilli puree’
The Chocolate Scorpion Chilli Puree is made from our own THSC Chocolate Scorpions.
Do you prefer making your own hot sauce and don’t have the chillies in your garden? The Chocolate Scorpion Chilli puree is an excellent choice for a hot sauce. If you don’t like it super hot, you just use less of the puree.
You can also use it in cooking, but be careful as 1 tsp will super charge your dish.
The flavour of the Chocolate Scorpions are sweet and a bit tangy and heat wise it is one of the hottest chillies you can get.
Find some of your favourite spices and some fruit you like. Maybe some vegetables, and blend them with some vinegar (apple cider, white, red or malt vinegar). You will need the vinegar to lower the pH. Then put in a pot, add puree and add sugar and salt. Just have a go – it is fun to create your own sauce.
