Bombay Morich
“Bears hot peppers in abundance”
Capsicum Chinense
Here we have a Naga Morich from Bombay in India.
When this plant is grown in a pot it grows approximate 60 cm in height. However, when it is planted in the ground it can double in height. If you are space challenged this is an excellent chilli plant for a terrace or a balcony.
The Bombay Morich bears hot peppers in abundance, it is an absolutely incredible producer, this variety provides you with more pods than you could ever dream of eating. Fruits turn from dark green to a fiery red. Not only is this chilli a great producer it is also looks absolutely stunning when it is full of pods.
Compared to the Naga Morich, the Bombay have thicker walls and it is more sweet in the flavour without the bitterness, you get with the usual morich. We love this one and it is now our new favorite naga flavour wise.
We recommend you try our variety seed packs for a GREAT discount
Pod size: 5-6 cm long and 2-2.5 cm wide
Flavour: A fantastic naga flavour, sweet and not so bitter
Heat Level: It has a deep solid burn. Extreme heat
