Bishops Crown Multicoloured
Bishops Crown is a gorgeous chilli variety from Barbados and this is the Multicoloured variety. It is similar to the Bishops Crown, but the colour changes make the difference.
The pods look amazing, when they go through the different colours, starting with white, then yellow cream colour to a peachy/orange and finish off a bright red.
The Bishops Crown is easy to grow and is a very prolific productive variety.
The plant grows well in a pot, but if you plant it in the ground, you will get a big and bushy chilli plant full of delicious pods.
Would be great in a salad, as a snack, stuffed with cream cheese like the Peppadew, If you dry them, the heat level change and they would make an excellent chilli powder.
Flavour wise: Sweet & juicy.
Heat level: Mild when they are fresh, but when you dry them the heat level change to a mid heat.
