Description
Australian Broome Chilli
C. Annuum
The Australian Broome Chilli is from Australia. We can’t find much information about the Australian Broome Chilli, but it’s probably named after Broome in Western Australia. We have grown it for years and now it’s time for you to be able to get this delicious chill.
The plants are an annuum type, in pots they get to around 50-60 cm tall and a are good producer. The pods are 7 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, go from a darkish green to a bright red, sometimes with a very cool colour change. They are long and rectangular with a snub nose, some get points but majority are the rectangular snub nosed.
Flavour wise: Crisp and crunchy with a light sour grape taste and not the usual capsicum flavour.
Heat wise: Surprisingly hot for an annuum variety and it is just under Habanero heat.
The Australian Broome Chilli would be awesome for a chilli enthusiast to the collection of chillies from all over the world.
Grows well, cool looking pods, great producer, great all round chilli.
10-12 chilli seeds per pack
