We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions if needed. If there are changes, we will inform you on this website.
Your continued use of the website following such amendment will represent an agreement by you to be bound by the new terms and conditions.
Copyright in this website is owned by The Hippy Seed Company. You can’t readjust, distribute, reproduce or publish works from this website or commercialize any information or products from this website without our written permission.
You can not use any of our trademarks in a way that can be confusing, deceptive or misleading in a manner that depreciate us, our products, this website or information in any part of your own trademarks in connection with activities, products or services, which are not ours.
You are provided with access to this website for your personal use. You are allowed to print a copy of our informations on this website for your personal use. You may not sell or use this information you obtain from this website without our written permission.
We will ship your order within 48 hours on working days. If you have ordered chilli seeds, they are sent in an anonymous envelope with an economy airmail stamp.
‘Unfortunately you can’t track an economy airmail stamp. The pack and track option is very expensive and is only available for parcels’.
Please provide us with the correct address. We cannot be held responsible, if the address you provide us is incorrect i.e. spelling errors, or lack of information.
You can use another address instead of your home address – for example buying a gift and want us to send it to the person. If you choose to get your order send to your work, we cannot be held responsible for your order getting lost in your company’s mail delivering system.
We aren’t responsible for Australia Post’s or your country’s postal provider’s delivery time or lost orders after the order leaves our premises. If you want to take out shipment insurance with your postal carrier, please email us before you order. The international tracking option can be arranged, however, you will need to email us, before you order. We will then calculate the tracking costs for you and send you an invoice.
From the 23rd of March 2020 Australia Post expects major international delivery delays due to flight cancellations and government restrictions because of COVID-19. Australia Post is working with partner airlines and other postal operators to move items as quickly as possible.
Please be mindful that it is out of our hands.
If orders are returned to us, due to your country no longer accepting any items for delivery because of flight cancellations or border closures, we will keep your order and resend it, as soon as your country’s borders open up again. Please be aware we can not offer refunds.

All orders for Australia
We aren’t responsible for Australia Post’s delivery times, crushed or lost mailed chilli seeds after they leave our premises.
All International orders
For overseas customers: You have to be aware that we can’t be held responsible for the loss of goods or for any customs duties associated with the importation of chilli seeds, due to its nature of being a natural plant product.
Please check your local country’s customs laws to make sure it is possible to receive the chilli seeds. We aren’t responsible for crushed or the loss of any mailed chilli seeds. No responsibility is taken.
Chilli seeds don’t normally require a Phytosanitary Certificate for importation, particularly if they are for retail and are packaged as such. That means the chilli seeds are for your own personal use and you have no intention of reselling them. By placing an order with us, you agree that the importation of retail packed chilli seeds are not restricted in your country, and that a Phytosanitary Certificate is not required, prior to purchase.
Any import duties, taxes, costs for a Phytosanitary certificate (if required) or other charges aren’t included in the item price or the shipping costs. These import duties, taxes, a Phytosanitary certificate or other charges are the buyers own responsibility.
No handling fees – we always make it as cheap as possible for you to get our products.
Refund & Returns Policy
Refunds of non-seed products
The Hippy Seed Company are happy to refund or exchange products bought from our website, provided the products are returned to us in an unopened unused state within a month of purchase. All products must be returned in their original condition. Postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via registered post.
Sometimes sauce bottles brake during transit, even though we do our best to pack them in bubble wrap. Please email us and attach photographic evidence, so we can arrange for a replacement to be sent out. You do not need to return broken goods to us.
Refunds of chilli seeds
Our seeds are guaranteed to be fresh. However, there are many variables in gardening that can impact germination. Seeds are a live organism. Their germination depends on many factors including heat, cooling, sun, shade, moisture, and season of sowing etc. None of these things are under our control, therefore, we cannot be held responsible for them. So please, do not ask for a refund or replacement. You are welcome to contact us, so we can provide guidance on how to germinate seeds.

You must ensure your tolerance for some our sauces are high. We do not take any responsibility for loss of taste, numbness, stomach ache, farting, etc.
